Project overview
Sadiq is the first all-in-one services app, bringing together manual trades, handcrafted work, and digital services on a single platform. It lets users post service listings for free and easily find the service they need — from cleaning and home repairs to furniture assembly, translation, photography, private tutoring, and 30+ service categories. We built it using Laravel for a secure, high-performance backend API, React Native for a seamless cross-platform experience on Android and iOS, Figma for intuitive UI/UX design, and MySQL as the database powering users, listings, and transactions.

The challenge
The biggest challenge was technical integration: building a centralized system connecting thousands of service providers and seekers across multiple regions — from cities across Syria to Berlin — while integrating secure payment gateways, an in-app messaging system that protects user privacy without exposing personal contact info, and an identity verification system to ensure trusted providers — all within one unified, stable, and secure API architecture.
The result is a reliable services platform available 24/7, eliminating the need to search across multiple places by bringing manual, digital, and even volunteer services together in one app. Sadiq is now live on Google Play and the App Store, serving users across several cities, with a scalable technical foundation ready to support continued growth in users and services.
