Project overview
Mohamina is a digital legal platform connecting individuals and businesses with specialized lawyers, delivering a clear and seamless legal experience from the first consultation all the way to a resolution — without complexity or overwhelming legal jargon. The app covers a wide range of legal fields, including family and personal status law, commercial and corporate cases, criminal and real estate cases, plus services like certified translation, urgent legal aid, and power-of-attorney arrangements. We built it using React Native for a unified, seamless experience across Android and iOS, Laravel to power a secure API managing users, lawyers, consultations, and payments, and MySQL as the database handling all legal records and transactions.

The challenge
The main challenge was building a platform that guarantees trust and complete privacy between the client and the lawyer, with a rigorous verification system checking each lawyer’s identity, credentials, and specialization before activating their account. It also required a smart matching system connecting users to the right lawyer based on case type (instant or scheduled), integrating a secure payment gateway completed before any legal service begins, and managing a complex flow of varied services (consultations, legal representation, document preparation) within one cohesive, responsive mobile experience.
The result is a trusted legal platform offering direct, secure access to verified lawyers across multiple specializations, with instant or scheduled consultations, secure electronic payment, and full legal representation when needed. The app is now live on the App Store and Google Play, becoming a reliable destination for hundreds of users seeking simple, transparent legal solutions without the hassle of visiting multiple law offices.
